Soft Cover Binding: Our softcover binding is perfect for many project. It is a durable, lower cost option from our Hard Cover binding options. Most projects can have split quantities of both hard and soft cover binding.
Smythe Sewn - Binding by sewing threads through the backfold of a signature and from signature to signature. This links the sigs together, while permitting the book to lay flat. This is considered one of the strongest types of binding available. Typically used for books requiring extended use and for books requiring longer shelf life. This binding allows us to bind up to 2.25” (example) PUR Adhesive- The strongest perfect binding available on the market. An alternative to standard hot melt adhesive, PUR creates a stronger binding by reacting to moisture in the air and paper. The chemical reaction provides greater strength and flexibility and withstands temperature extremes as compared to conventional adhesives(example) Saddle Stitch- binding a booklet by stapling through middle fold of the signature.
